Fat Cats and the death of my studio

Hello Friends and lurkers,
The new year rapidly approaches as does the end of the lease on my studio space. A few of my studiomates decided that rent was optional and therefore the realty company is giving us the boot. No sweat as I wasnt actually on the lease but I am a little frustrated about having to move my gear around. Hopefully I will be in a bigger and better space sometime in the near future. I am currently looking for an additional member to go in on a studio with me and another Fashion shooter. If you are in the metro area and are looking for a space to shoot, drop me a line and we can work something out.

I will be learning as I go. I have given some thought to attempting to photo assist for photographers travelling through Bangkok. I still need to improve my Thai more so that I can forge some relationship with local vendors. Tomorrow I am going to head out to IQ labs and talk to people (assuming they speak enough english) about the photography scene in Thailand. At this point Im not actually sure how feasible it is to work as a photographer in Thailand, but Im sure I will get some kind of idea within the next few weeks. Ill let you kow if I get anything figured out.

Yeah, we are staying with a Thai friend in Bang na. We will probably end up living here for the next 4 months. I will be trying to pursue photography full time while my wife and our friend will be teaching english. The flight was hell on earth, but I will fill you in more when I see you.
